Two dentists who founded Hana in 1987, and their son who returned after specialist training and clinical practice in the United States and Seoul.
Dr. Park completed his periodontics residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. After clinical faculty work at the University of Washington and esthetic dental practice in Seoul’s Apgujeong district, he returned to the family clinic in Changwon. He consults and treats international patients directly in English.
Dr. Park founded Hana Dental in Sangnam-dong in 1987 and has practiced in the same location ever since. He began placing implants during the early adoption of implant dentistry in Korea and brings a prosthodontist’s focus to the final tooth, bite and long-term function.
Dr. Kang has cared for generations of families at Hana Dental since 1987. Wanting to understand anxiety in the dental chair more deeply, she completed graduate and doctoral study in psychology. Her calm, unhurried approach is especially valued by anxious patients, older adults and children.
Dental treatment proves itself over time. When parents hand a clinic to their son without leaving the original patients behind, today’s decision carries a longer horizon: the person who treats you expects to remain accountable for it.
