Why the clinic is called Hana.
Hana means “one” in Korean: one family, and one relationship between patient and doctor. Children who once came holding a parent’s hand now return with children of their own. Caring for three generations of one family is only possible when a clinic stays long enough to earn that trust.
“Some treatment decisions only make sense when you expect to see the patient again in ten years.”
